the Bright Blue Sky

There's
a Friend for little children
Above the bright blue sky, A Friend who never changes Whose love will never die; Our earthly friends may fail us, And change with changing years, This Friend is always worthy Of that dear name he bears.
There's a home
for little children
Above the bright blue sky, Where Jesus reigns in glory, A home of peace and joy; No home on earth is like it, Nor can with it compare; And everyone is happy, Nor could be happier there. |

THE NATURE OF CHILDREN
THE NATURE OF CHILDREN
IT'S A MATTER OF OPINION
Some children are like wheelbarrows,
they have to be pushed.
Some are like canoes,
they have to be paddled.
Some are like kites,
if you don't keep a string on them
they will fly away.
Some are like kittens,
they're more content when petted.
Some are like trailers,
they are useless unless pulled.
Some are like balloons
full of wind and likely to blow-up
unless handled carefully.
Some are-
always dependable and cooperative.

Welcome to my blog!!!!
One of the greatest gifts we can give to a child is the gift of music. as a little baby, he is comforted by the lullaby and as he grows, he is charm by the rhythm and melody of the nursery song.
As early as the 1500's, childrensa rhymes were docummented. As most of our early American ancestors were from Europe, so too the rhymes and music have their roots.
I love reading poems and singing rymes to my little baby. It is just a collection of poems and nursery rhymes until you read it aloud, share it with those we love and is given a voice, then it comes to life. Then it become yours.
It is been a joy to research poems and nursery rhymes. I want to share it with you and wish you will be enchanted.
